A home born from love, built with heart.
This is not just a house.
It’s a breath of memory, an embrace of stone and light.
a silent story that tells itself — to those with a heart to hear it.
Is the house of my father, Francesco Giuliano,
a man shaped by hardship and illuminated by love.
Raised under the stern gaze of his own father,
he worked between stone blocks and family duties.
But deep inside, he nurtured a dream: to have a place of his own,
a home that was refuge, promise, and freedom.
Then came my mother, Francesca
a destiny that brought them together.
But their union was not easy, nor blessed by all.
And so my father chose: love, his path, his home.
That land, that idea, those hands working late into the night… without my mother knowing, this house was born, while my mother was carrying me in her womb.
It was 1975, and that house was already me.
A project designed with a friend who was an architect,
between sketches and dreams, laughter and late nights, joyful barbecues and glasses of wine, amidst Arabic curves and windows facing the sea.
We called it “Fortezza” because it has always been a safe haven,
a stronghold of love, freedom, and true family.
Then, "Azzurra". A name that my wife Rossana who chose it with her heart.
It reminds her of the clear sky, the calm sea, the peace.
It’s the color of the paradise and of relaxation, the very thing you breathe in as soon as you step inside.
And so the full name was born: Fortezza Villa Azzurra.
Here we grew up.
Only true friends came here,
genuine smiles, light hearts.
It wasn’t a home for everyone, but for those who truly knew how to love..
Then life changed everything.
In 2005, my father flew away,
and the house, like us, came to know silence,
the dust of time, the cracks of longing.
But true homes never die.
Since I reopened it, even from afar,
it seems to grow younger with each passing day..
as if it recognized the new laughter,
the suitcases arriving, the light footsteps of curious guests.
The walls still tell..
You can see the signs of time, yes!
but right there the magic is hidden..
This house is not perfect, but it is alive.
And every person who enters it,
if they bring respect and wonder,
becomes part of our story..

We believe in honesty, and we think the most beautiful places are the ones that are genuine.

🍽️ Cucina ampia → recentemente rinnovata, con accesso diretto ad una terrazza
🛋️ Soggiorno molto grande → con divano e accesso ad un’altra terrazza altrettanto spaziosa
♿ Nota importante → gli ambienti sono collegati su livelli sfalsati molto suggestivi, ma non ideali per persone con disabilità
🌿 Terrazze arredate → perfette per colazioni e cene all’aperto
🚗 Parcheggio interno → garage privato a disposizione degli ospiti
🚿 Doccia esterna → comoda al rientro dalla spiaggia

📍 Posizione & Atmosfera
La casa si trova in una zona non turistica, ideale per chi cerca autenticità e relax.
A soli 3 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia, con vista spettacolare sull’Etna e, a volte, persino sulle coste calabresi.
Raggiungibili a piedi: un supermercato (700 m) e un ristorante/pizzeria con bar tipico (700 m) dove gustare colazioni siciliane e piatti tradizionali.
A soli 10 minuti di auto da Lentini si trovano supermercati più grandi e diverse caffetterie per colazioni e pranzi tipici.
Non essendoci passeggiate serali o shopping turistico, qui si vive la Sicilia più genuina, fatta di cultura locale e ritmi semplici.
🚗 Mobilità & Escursioni
La casa è ben collegata all’autostrada, ma completamente priva di mezzi pubblici o taxi: noleggiare un’auto è indispensabile.
In auto, in 30–60 minuti, si possono raggiungere:
Ortigia, Noto, Ragusa, Caltagirone, Catania, Enna
Le Gole dell’Alcantara, l’Etna e Taormina
Molti ospiti organizzano la giornata così:
Mattino presto → visita turistica o culturale
Pranzo nella città visitata
Pomeriggio e tramonto → rientro a Fortezza Villa Azzurra, relax in spiaggia e cena tranquilla in casa
